Chilly Weather

I love fall. I love the cold and the rain, the wind, the falling leaves, and sleeping with all the windows and doors open. I love flannel sheets, hoodies, fuzzy PJ's, warm apple cider, hot chocolate, candy corn, and pumpkin pie. I love making chex mix, mashed sweet potatoes and yummy soups. I love watching scary movies with my kids, and making plans for the holidays with them. Another reason I love fall is because my anniversary is in October, so I have nice nostalgic memories of that too. In short, I LOVE FALL! It is definitely my favorite season!

My Wonderful Husband

Tom woke me up before he went to work this morning. He pulled my blanket down a little, snuggled up to me, nuzzled my cheek, kissed me on the mouth, and then whispered in my ear, "Where is my metro card?"

I had found his metro card outside on the driveway the morning before, and put it on the counter for him.

We celebrated Savannah and Jonathan's birthdays with a gathering of family and friends. They got lots of great presents from everyone except Mom and Dad who only got them a little cheap present, because we had planned a family trip to the Renaissance Festival for the next weekend. They had a promotion opening day where kids got in free, and adult tickets were cheap. We were all pretty excited about this since we've never been before. It was totally as cool as expected! Aunt Betsy (my sister) came too and brought Alex and Evie, and Veronika brought her kids, husband and bro and sis in law too. It was really hot, but soooo much fun! The birthday kids each got $10 to spend however they chose. Jack got a dirk, and played some games, Nana got a princess skirt and food and went into some 'behind the curtain' exhibits.

Testing, Testing, 123

Wendy gave me some troubleshooting tips for my blog, because a few people still can't comment. You know who you are, and may now give it another shot :)
