Finally Getting Around To Christmas

With the big storm we got, I decided to take advantage of the no school situation and go up to my Mom's a few days early. My Aunt Barbie was visiting again this year and we all wanted to spend as much time with her as possible! We didn't see much of my brother Allen this year cuz he went and got himself 2 jobs which kept him busy over the retail holiday season. Tom had to stay behind and work, so he came up on Christmas Eve. He stopped by his parents house first to pick up the Christmas pajamas for the kids. This is the before picture.

That's my brother Sam's arm pointing Jack's head the right direction ;)

Here's the after picture. We even got James switched over into his festive PJ's from the other ones.

Mom got a new tree. This one is green. I like it better than the white one. We are pretty lucky, because our kids don't get up any earlier on Christmas than they do the rest of the year, and they like to sleep, so we didn't have to get up until like 8am.

Watching TV, waiting for everyone to be up.

Tom with his presents.....also some rare shots of him with a full goatee which he has since had to shave off since he's been attending the police academy.

This is my picture....I got lots of clothes this year, but since I've gained quite a bit of weight this year, nothing fit :(   I did get some other cool stuff though.

Nana got a Twilight poster which I think was her favorite gift or maybe it tied with the Wimpy Kid books.

James got more presents than anyone, and he loved all of them!

Jack just makes the funniest faces! He spent a lot of time playing trucks with Aunt Barbie. He was sad that he forgot his grape jelly at Grandma's though :(

Calvin's favorite present was definitely the fishing rod. He loved all his presents this year, he really got some good stuff.

Rayzel got a Twilight poster too, and she was, if possible, even more excited about her 'Edward' poster than Nana was. As you can see, my family likes to get the girls similar gifts. They don't seem to mind too much.

We had a pretty good haul by the end, and the kids spent the next week enjoying the new toys. More pictures later!
