Rayzel 5th Grade Promotion

First, some videos of her spring concert.....it was African themed and the music was really fun. Thanks, Tom for taking videos for me :)

Rayzel advancement ceremony....more fuzzy pics.....she had a really great teacher this year, Mr. Weiss......he was Nana's 5th grade teacher too......

They did a Flash Mob dance after the ceremony.....it was pretty cool.....I'm posting the video, but it wasn't as good as I'd hoped...I couldn't really see Rayzel very often, and people kept pushing me so it's all wobbly.....

The Musical Stylings Of My Girls

Pics from Nana's winter concert......the video of her performing 'Interplay' was posted earlier.....

Rayzel winter concert pics and video.......

Nana spring concert pics......these didn't turn out so good :(
They did a whole song that was just clapping, stomping, snapping their fingers and  rubbing their hands together...it was pretty cool....Mr. Williams the percussion teacher says they are going to do that song for State next year....

Nana State Competition pics and videos......they got ratings of 'Superior' on both pieces they played...Nana only played on one though, and she videoed the other piece for me... 'Mozambique'

Yet Another Trip With My Hubby..........

This trip was for our anniversary in October.........we stayed at our favorite haunted inn in Gettysburg, and we were not disappointed. We love the ghost tours, cuz that's where you hear all the best stories and interesting history. Pics are arranged in no particular order......

Tom wanted to get a little more into the ghost hunting spirit, so here he is playing with divining rods.........

Our tour guide who supposedly is a psychic....

If you look really closely there is an orb on Tom's shoulder....most people in the ghost hunting community think orbs are spirits

Breakfast in the dining room every morning included in the price of your room.....

Our tour guide for the haunted cellar....

And attic....he seemed pretty creeped out the whole time....

So did this guy.....we had to email him pics later cuz he had orbs all over him in some of the pics Tom took.....

Nighttime and daytime ghost hunting.....it was a really pretty walk during the day.....

And some ghost hunting inside the inn too...it's the 7th most haunted inn in America......

Our room.....and we did hear some odd noises in the night.....

It was a great trip....I'm definitely looking forward to our next one :)

More Oldies But Goodies

Tom and I took off to Williamsburg for a much needed break before he graduated from the academy last September.....here are some pics of our adventures....

At Busch Gardens, seeing their wannabe Riverdance which was actually pretty good......they have hardly any roller coasters there...weird....it's really pretty there though so just walking around was nice......

Dinner in Colonial Williamsburg, which was REALLY yummy.....Tom flirted with the elderly serving wench who was hitting on him, and we played Shut The Box.....lots of cool bagpipe music, Tom's favorite......

If you haven't seen these, they are pretty cool...they are set in the bridge you cross over to get into Colonial Williamsburg.........
