Clown Hair?...... Why Not!

This is my best friend Wendy. She moved to Utah a few years ago. She used to do my hair all the time, but now she only does it once a year when she flies me out there to visit. This year she came to visit me.

So I got my girls hair done too.......

Nana's purple didn't sit long enough so it came out pink.....but Wendy showed me how to fix it....

Last but not least......
I wish I could have blonde and pink hair.......I was all worried about my rep at church, what with my primary calling......if only I'd known then what I know now.....

Consummatum est

Finally squeezed all three boys into one 12x13 room........tell me what you think......standing in the doorway looking from left to right in a circle around the room we have........

James dresser

Jack and James bunk beds.....with Jack on top of course....

New curtain from older post......(the other, cooler side)

Storage/Toy/Calvin shelf

Also Calvin's desk

Closet, toy shelf, Calvin loft bed ladder, Jack dresser #1

Better look at the ugly toy shelf....it's gonna be replaced  soon cuz the fiberboard is rapidly disintegrating and it's falling apart.....we tried painting it, but it didn't help.......

Jack's dressers under Calvin's loft bed...he calls it his cave :)
Plenty of surfaces to play on still too!

TV where James can see it of course, thus encouraging him to play in his room and not on my stove top......but that's a story for another time.......

Calvin's loft bed.....someday I hope to get him a real mattress instead of an air mattress....

And Calvin's dresser completes the tour....I even found room for a hamper :D

I am currently working on a crocheted rug for their room too......

Nothing in this room will be moved ever again unless it breaks and even then it will be replaced with one that is identical. The arrangement is eternal. There are no other options. Unless someone moves out. :)

Jack's World.........

Walking around the Annapolis harbor on a day when the high was 50 degrees..........

"It's a good day for swimming!"

Posing like he's gonna jump in....

At the art museum in DC...

" Mom can I take some pictures with your camera?"

Me: "Jack, what does this look like to you?"

Jack: "Hmmm.....I know! George Washington!"

After waking Dad up in the middle of the night, and James coming in right after.......

Dad: "Your little brother followed you."

Jack: "I didn't know.........."
(stops to think)

Jack: "I wasn't looking behind me........."
(stops to think)

Jack: "I was looking where I was going!"
