I am not responsible for some of this fabulous photography.....but I wish I was...the pics are all jumbled up together, but I figure it's kinda too late to start worrying about it now...after all, it's been 8 months ;)
Our stake YW presidency...they are really awesome :)
The YW and leaders of our stake
Severn Ward :D
Severn Ward :D
We did a very realistic first aid emergency dramatization at camp.....
They used all of Nana's triangular bandages for this girl....
So excited...driving up to camp
It's raining :(
Amanda :)
Nana and her new 1st year friends
Amanda is family, and I have so many pictures of her I couldn't just NOT post :)
Our ward color was yellow
Cutie!!
Dressed up for our Latter Day Lyrics skit
She volunteered to be the boy
And had a blast
Practicing for our skit....we changed the lyrics to pieces of 3 different songs and sang it in the video below.....
Still raining :(
Trying to stay dry...
Nana got a little crazy with the tie dying paint...
Nana's personal motto, stolen from Happy Bunny....all the girls got to write their own....some of them were pretty neat....
My favorite pic of Amanda
The bandanas used on the 'injured' girl mysteriously vanished....Nana got them back when they made her Wiggelo for them in front of the whole stake....
She was a good sport...I wish I had thought to video it :(
100 Grand bars for winning the chili cook off...my secret ingredient was crystal sauce ;) We also won an award for cleanest camp (which apparently our ward has NEVER won...) and we won an award for the most spirit
New Tshirts! The camp theme this year was Believe Seek Know.
Making river rock necklaces with our Bishop
We have such great leaders and girls :)
Award ceremony for our ward
Nana was voted biggest party animal, and best dancer lol! The video below features our awesome Bishop :D
The stake gave Nana the Brainiac Maniac award...apparently she was the kid with her hand in the air anytime anyone asked a question....as a HP fan, when they announced it I immediately had a mental image of Hermione Granger pop into my head....Yay Nana!
Tom was working during the day on my birthday so I decided to go out with my friend in the morning. I put the kids in charge of cleaning and carrying out any other birthday plans they felt inclined to prepare while I was gone...
First, we met for breakfast at Panera, and then we went to the movies, to see 'One For The Money'...it was pretty good, I liked it a lot :)
Then, we had sushi for lunch. So Yummy!
We went to the shooting range next, but the wait was too long, so we decided to go get pedicures instead :)
When I got home, this is the first thing I saw :) I have some pretty great kids, ya? :)
Some of them even painted their faces for me...Jack is doing a great impression of the Green Lantern
Nana did her own face paint...pretty well done says I :)
Calvin made me a card
I love it when my kids make stuff for me :) It makes me feel so loved and appreciated :)
Tom came home from work and took me out to dinner at my favorite Thai restaurant, Little Spice
Also while Tom and I were out, we ran to Costco to get me a birthday cake...lucky for me, red velvet was on sale :)
Just some pics from our Valentines Day adventures :)
The beautiful orange-red roses came a week early...before prices skyrocketed ;)
We had a date planned, so we had to provide the kids with a distraction....
Here we are at Cadillac Ranch
With our good friends T and V :D
Tom, being insecure about his 'Pink' lemonade....not sure why....btw, thanks for the pic, T ;)
Dinner was ROCKIN'. I don't know what was on the potatoes, but I want to die eating it....
Tom said his burger was also yummy....he ate it so fast I didn't get a picture lol!
The whole point of coming to Cadillac Ranch was to ride the mechanical bull. Do you see a bull here? No, you don't, cuz it's broken :( very sad. Fortunately the rest of my Valentines Day was pretty great, which made up for it :)
