More Summer Fun.....

We go to North Carolina for a week every year, but this year, we got to go there straight from girls camp. It was a lil crazy, but we made it. 

We got to the beach house early on Sunday morning.

The weather was perfect!

James was happy to be there...it's his favorite week of the year :)

James was trying out the board a bit too, but his favorite thing to do was let the waves wash him back in...ouch!

We spent some time watching the world cup, and the kids were really into it....

The kids chased crabs.

We had to evacuate from the beach house on Thursday due to a hurricane :(

We decided to set off our New Mexico 4th of July fireworks before we left.....we set almost all of them off before getting busted by the local law enforcement...the joke was on them, we only had 3 left for them to confiscate and Tom was our get-out-of-jail-free card ;)

We evacuated to Toms brothers house and stayed there for the next couple days....we swam and ate Ledo's pizza....

The boys played a lot of video games....

We usually go to UMD for fireworks, but everyone was a lil bummed cuz we were supposed to be in NC this year, so, we went to the mall in Columbia instead.

Summer Craze And School Days

I am so glad to be back working on my blog again!

Everyone is in school FULL DAY now, so I have some time to breathe, get back in the habit of making dinner, catch up on my sewing projects, and blog :D

Lets start with summer fun, shall we? James has decided that he likes adventures, so, we made sure we took him someplace almost every day so that he wouldn't be tempted to go wandering on his own....

PS- Savannah narrated some of the posts for me :)

We went to Assateague, and swam...

Jack is now tall enough to ride all the serious roller coasters, (and I Love riding with him btw)...but this is still his favorite ride lol!

We had some fun adventures here too!!

We caught frogs in the backyard and kept them in a tank on the deck....there were lots of them this year and they liked to jump on us sneak attack style at night with their sticky feet... (((shudder)))

These frogs were crawling all over the house, and this one was stuck on the door. It was gross.

We had lots of people over for dinner....James made his own burgers....
