This was taken before he knew what school was......it's not so cute and peaceful anymore when we leave the house....he cries and keeps trying to escape the teacher the first 3 days, he's not as bad the 4th day, and better the 5th day, then we do it all over again the next week...at least he likes the bus ride....

George Washington's House

We went to Mt Vernon with some friends last February. Jack was beyond thrilled, because he was learning about good old George in school. FYI, Mt. Vernon is a non profit organization, so the admission is tax deductible :D

Spring Break...The Final Chapter....

The kids were SO excited to discover that OC had a Ripley's Believe It Or Not....they have been bugging to go there ever since they saw the pics Tom and I took on our trip to Niagara Falls. This picture behind the kids is made out of gumballs.

We bought a couple of the books in the souvenir shop to show Calvin....

Then we continued on to this great free park and zoo that I know in Salisbury....sadly, Rayzel was off making new friends and didn't get into any of the pics this time :(

Spring Break Part 2

More pics from our trip to OC last spring.....I really love writing about it, but it takes me longer, I get less stuff posted and I end up more behind so I will try to keep it short...plus, picture are supposed to be worth a thousand words, so really, I rock ;)

Babies are hungry!

We spent a lot of time in the pool at the hotel...it was a nice pool, only 3 and a half feet deep in the deep end....it was not too chemically, and fairly warm. They alternated between the pool and the hot tub. I didn't get too many pictures at the pool, but I did get a couple of videos of James trying to swim.

When we weren't at the pool, we were mostly at the park. I posted those pics already, but I forgot to post this video of James' monkey moves...watch the whole thing to see his acrobatics twice from two different angles.....
